01What we collect

Boxed stores the locations, boxes, items and photos you add. Without an account, all of it stays on your device and we never see it.

With an account we also keep:

• Your email address, to sign you in
• A copy of your Spaces, boxes, items and photos, so they can back up and sync
• Who added, moved or changed something in a shared Space

02Camera and photos

Boxed uses the camera only when you ask: to scan a QR label or take a photo of a box or item. Nothing is recorded in the background. Photos are saved with the box or item they belong to.

03Analytics

Boxed has no ads and no advertising trackers. This website uses no analytics and sets no cookies.

In the app, analytics are off by default. If you turn them on, Boxed collects anonymous crash reports and feature usage, never box or item names. [Placeholder: name the crash reporting provider, if any.]

04Where it’s stored

If you have an account, your data is handled by these services:

• Supabase: accounts and the database
• PowerSync: syncing between your devices
• Resend: sending sign-in emails

05Deleting your data

Without an account, deleting the app deletes everything, or you can erase it in Settings › Privacy. With an account, go to Settings › Account actions › Delete account. This permanently deletes the account and every Space, box, item and photo it owns.
