What’s the difference between a location and a box?
A location is a place, like Garage or Kitchen. A box is something you can pick up and move. Boxes live in locations, and a box can sit inside another box.
Do I need an account?
No. Boxed works fully on your phone without one. An account is only needed for backup and shared Spaces.
The QR won’t scan.
Make sure the label is flat and well lit. You can also type the 6-character code printed under the QR on the Scan screen.
How do I move to a new phone?
Log in on the new phone and everything comes back. Without an account: Settings › Backup › Back Up Now, move the file, then Restore.
How do I delete my account?
Settings › Account actions › Delete account. It permanently deletes the account and every Space, box, item and photo it owns.
